2 Hospitalized As Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Down Route 206: Update

Route 206 in Morris County was closed due to a serious crash just before during rush hour traffic on Friday, June 2, authorities said.

A vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer near Fox Chase Road, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Megan Knab told Daily Voice. Initial reports came in around 3:30 p.m.

Two occupants were taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment, Knab said.

The highway remained closed in both directions north of CR 512/Pottersville Road in Chester as of 4 p.m., according to the NJDOT:
